My mosaic turtle 🐢

I love turtles! In my opinion, they are very graceful, flowy and cute animals. On the SLJ there was a task called The Octopus Battle – Step it Up. It said I had to

so that’s what I did. I made a turtle mosaic, it didn’t take too long. I used the polyline tool to create my turtle, I also gave it a name, Squirtle. Do you like turtles? if not what sea creature do you like?

I am Zana from the Summer Learning Journey team. It is fantastic to see you blogging your “My mosaic turtle” activity! Your digital creation, Squirtle, is a brilliant example of patience and precision using the polyline tool.

Your turtle design shows that you have mastered some very tricky digital skills. Using the polyline tool can be challenging, but you have used it perfectly to create the intricate pattern of the turtle’s shell. I love how you chose different shades of green, brown, and tan for the shell. It makes Squirtle look very realistic, almost like he’s ready to swim right off the screen!

You mentioned that you find turtles to be graceful, flowy, and cute, and your artwork really captures that calm spirit.

Turtles have been around for millions of years, and their shells are one of nature’s most amazing designs. A turtle’s shell is actually part of its skeleton, it’s made of about 50 different bones, including its ribs and spine!

If Squirtle could take you on an underwater tour of any place in the Pacific Ocean, where would you want him to take you first?

    Keep up the amazing blogging,

    Zana (SLJ Team)
